Kid's Carnival at the Resort

I signed the boys up for a kid's carnival at the resort today. Thank goodness Joe came with us as it was very crowded and the boys had quite different interests so we did a lot of dividing and conquering. I saw tons of friends there. Reminds you that yes this is a small town. It was really fun and the whole experience was nice. The boys were too shy to try to dance, there were some break dancers there to teach the kids cool moves. :) Joe and I watched while the boys ran up and down some stairs.

Our babysitter Daniel came over and babysat for us while we went on a double date with Matt and Keira. We ate at Market Grill which was yummy (Joe and I ordered sushi) and then we had coffee at Starbucks. We then played Texas Hold 'Em at Matt and Keira's place. We had a lot of fun and laughs. A really nice evening. Poor Daniel said that Mason was really bad tonight. Not listening, throwing fits and being defiant. Joe and I both tried to tell her that Mason is just testing her and that she did a great job. She actually put both boys to sleep which no babysitter has ever done for us period. It doesn't matter how late we come home, we have always found the boys still up. So huge kudos to her for that.
