I caught the entire thing on film. It was so cute. The boys actually listened for the most part. Of course, there was lots of licking and nibbling throughout the entire process. We also made and spilled a lot of yellow Jello. :) Thank goodness this is a rental! haha
I cut Mason and Joe's hair today. We were trying to grow Mason's hair out but it was driving up nuts. It is just too unruly.
I also did some sewing. Its the first time I have used my sewing machine in 4 years, since I bought it. I just had so much energy today I couldn't stop myself. We had purchased some Thomas the Train bedding for Talan's crib but then the bumper didn't match. I used the flat sheet, cut into three sections, and made sleeves to go over the old bumper. It isn't perfect by a long shot but it does the trick. Talan will be thrilled when he goes to bed tonight!
I also did some Al-Anon work. I have volunteered for so many things it is crazy overwhelming. But, I did a great job on the flyer I made for an event we are having in September. I feel great about that.
Joe continues to make awesome food for us to ear while we are dieting. I am down .4 pounds! Whew hoo. Slow but steady wins the race, right?
Oh, we got a call this morning at 6:59am from Mason's teacher saying there was no school today due to the weather. We are being pummeled by snow. But we have had a great time indoors today and it feels very cozy in here. The snow is beautiful and the boys love for me to pick off icicles for them to play with.
Life is good. Can't complain at all. I feel great. I have so much more energy now that I am exercising daily and eating right. All good stuff.
